I have had my iphone 4 since June. Its in great condition. Always been in an otterbox, and has always worked fairly well, until a few days ago. My home button decided to not work. Mind you there was no damage to it. So after trying to fix it, I pulled up the assistance home button on the screen and was just fine doing that. Then last night, my phone wouldn’t connect to any charger or computer. It died, and wont come back on at all. Like its completely dead. And I cant reset it because of the faulty home button. I HAVE to have this phone. My husband is in the Navy, and its the only way we can skype and communicate. So I need a replacement. Its still under warrenty, but I didnt buy insurance when I got it.
So I got on verizon.com and did a live chat with a sales person, and she told me to bring it into their store. Will they replace it there? I have to have a phone for work too.
I don’t know what to do! Thanks in advance!

You have to take it to an apple store and if its still under warranty then yes i think if its a technical issue they will replace it.
Take it into either a Verizon store or Apple store. They’ll do the rest.
Take it to Apple first. If Apple won’t replace it take it to the store. They may. But, moving forward, purchase the Apple care +. It’s a good deal. Especially since your phone is so important for you to keep in contact with your loved one. It’s like a hundred dollars for the piece of mind.
