How Do I Find Out Which Bank/ Or The Owners For A Short Sale? The Realtor Company Is Not Responding.see Detail?


This home is in Sacramento, California. It’s a short sale, received an offer but no contracts have been signed. I’d still like to see it and make an offer, but the realty company is a B to deal with, they are horrible. How can I find the owners or which bank owns the home? I’d like to ditch the middle man.

My Home Is In Short Sale And A Bank Rep Came To My Home Of Record?


I am military, stationed outside the country. My home in Florida is in short sale and just about done (thankfully). However my parents just informed me that 2 months ago, a B of A agent came to their home in Washington, my home of record being in the military and wanted to talk to me about refinancing. My thing is, A- they know I am military stationed outside of the US and therefore not at my parents home. B- can they talk with others about my finances like they were trying to do? C-Has anyone ever even heard of this happening? The house has been for sale for 4 months, in short sale process for 3 with a buyer and a month into it they come knocking at my parents door asking for me KNOWING I am not living there? Is this normal practice? Sorry for all the questions, but I am waiting on a call back from my realtor about this and have about 20 hours to wait. Thanks for any good input.

My House Is Paid But Selling It Is Not An Option (too Long) Can I Trade It On My Offer On A Short Sale House?


My home is payed for worth 300k my parents are older and i would like to buy a short sale home for 600k thats larger and i was just wondering if i could trade my home in the process of making an offer versus selling it because i need to move now basicly trading it with the bank and the seller in addtion to 300k in finance open to all options/sugestions i have the title too…thanks

How Long Does A Short Sale Take To Get Approved?


My husband and I put in an offer about 3 months ago…our realtor said that they accepted our offer..Now she says a whole different thing..like it could take from 2-8months and that the seller could apply for a modification or that the bank could reject the short sale.
My hubby and I are really frustrated…we been looking and looking for other houses with in our budget and nothing also my realtor doesn’t help much!
and on top of all that we just got robbed about 2 months ago.”someone broke in our home”
so we just want to move out! A.S.A.P.
Does anyone know how long will it take?

Is This Normal For Short Sale With Second Bank Involved?


I made an offer on a short sale home in March this year (2012.) Offer was accepted as-is by the seller, and was eventually countered for a slightly higher amount by the bank that holds the primary loan on the home. I accepted, and did all the paperwork at the realtor’s office. While waiting for the appraisal to be done, my realtor informed me, for the first time, that there was a second loan on the home. Realtor further stated that the bank holding that loan was asking for a promissory note from the seller for over $20,000 to satisfy part of what they owe on that loan, and they had already declined a significantly lesser amount offered to them by the other bank. My realtor told me that it was unlikely the owner would agree to the promissory note, so the deal was basically dead. Doesn’t the bank holding the smaller loan usually take what they can get, which is better than nothing if it goes to foreclosure? Is this deal really dead unless someone comes up with the $20,000+ to satisfy the 2nd loan? *I’m in Michigan, and the home has been in short sale status for almost one year now.

Home Inspection In Short Sale Question?


I was told by a realtor that I, as a buyer, can ONLY have the home inspection done before getting the bank’s approval of my offer. The realtor said that this makes short sales risky as I would lose all the money I put into a home inspection if the bank rejects my offer.
Is this true? Or, can I conduct a home inspection after the bank’s approval of my offer? Other options?

What Are My Chances Getting A Short Sale Approved By The Bank?


I found a beautiful home at a cheap price and I thought it was a steal… Well it wasn’t. It was a short sale. The bank was asking 99,900 for the home and just before I put an offer in I heard they just turned down an offer that was made smaller than what the bank asked for. I have a wonderful real estate agent that I trust and she gave me all the paperwork and explained everything that I needed to sign. After I signed the next day I got seller acceptance (Feb 28th 12′) and closing date on my paperwork is May 28th… Also they cashed my earnest money right away as well… Now I found out the people filed for bankruptcy (not sure if it’s chapter 7 or 13). My real estate agent told me the listing agent said all of the paperwork is correct and their waiting on the courts approval to make sure there will be no proceeds. I’m not sure what I should do in this case and what my chances are for getting this house. Should I start looking at other houses? Or play the waiting game? How long could the court take to give approval? Any advice would be helpful. Also what is closing date exactly? Is that when the bank needs to come up with a decision?

I am in the process of buying a short sale home. I heard from my agent last week and the primary mortgage lender and a junior lien holder were in the process of negotiating. Does anyone know about how long this process takes?
